Hear Our Prayers

Pray for Matt, Pastor Joe’s father, who had a stroke, and he will be unable to go home. They need to find a facility for him to go to. Especially pray for Patty.

Pray for the Bentley family. Steve is recovering from hernia surgery, and Tina is trying to pick up the slack.

Pray for Mia and her fellow students on their trip to Greece. Pastor Joe will be picking them up in Portland on Wednesday.

Pray for Noah and his family. His surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday, June 17th. Pray for his health, his family, and his medical team. 

Pray for Tammy’s father, Bob, who had unexpected back surgery last week and has moved to rehab.

Pray for the Langworthy family.

Please pray for our leadership team.

Pray for those who have been unable to attend recently.

Pray for our church and those struggling. Please pray for God’s care and healing over us.

Pray for those preparing for VBX and those the Lord brings to attend.

Pray for our visitors. 

Pray for Cara and her family as they adjust to caring for her father at home. Ed especially needs prayer.

Cara’s mother has a hernia, and it is bothering her. 

Continue to pray for our 1st responders, EMTs, police, and firefighters.

Pray for the families and friends of the people who have died in the Middle East. Pray for the people who live in places disrupted by war. Also, pray that God uses the mess to bring more people to Him.

Also, pray for Joe, a friend of the Tracy family. His very aggressive cancer has returned. He is only 40 years old, but most importantly, he needs the Lord. He just finished a round of chemo and will be attending his brother’s wedding.

Pray for teens preparing for the Nazarene Youth Conference. They will be going to Salt Lake City.

Pray for Henry Reiss. He is a young boy with cancer. His parents are associates at the South Portland church.

Please pray for the Brian Stan. He still needs to lose 25 pounds before he is eligible for surgery.

Pray for Karen Miller. She is not recovering well.

Pray for Harlen. His wife left him and the kids. He has a court

Pray for our finances. 

Pray for our ministry teams and our outreach to Downeast Maine. Where is God calling you? Current needs are:

  • Children’s Church and Youth Ministry. We have a meaningful and thriving ministry to students and are especially looking for those who would help!
  • Property & Grounds Maintenance. There’s always something to repair or patch up. Please let Pastor Joe know if you are available to help.
  • A new ministry that God has laid on your heart?
  • As always, please pray for our missionaries, military personnel, and first responders around the world and for revival. Especially the mess in the Middle East.

REMEMBER The Lord is gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love.
